I have been so impressed by the care and compassion of all the staff in Orchard House. I can not recommend this place highly enough for its friendliness, Helpfulness and nursing care. Although Gwyneth's stay was too short, I am so very thankful that her last days were spent here. Thank you for making her a part of your community and for enabling Gwyneth to see her friends before she died. Vera has been professional and yet with such humanity and we were blessed to have such genuine, caring staff caring for her. I cannot thank you enough.

Orchard House has cared for Gwyneth from the day she arrived. they have been outstanding in showing empathy, sensitivity and professionalism. Everyone has introduced themselves and shown an interest in 'who' Gwyneth is, what she likes, dislikes and what her preferences are for food, blankets, position in bed etc. I cannot fault them and only praise the dedicated staff.
In the short time Gwyneth was a resident (7 days) I feel like I have become part of 'the family' that Orchard House is! I know that Gwyneth was well cared for, loved and treated with dignity during her last days. Thank you to everyone! Heather (23rd March 2022)

It was with a certain amount of trepidation that the decision to move Damian out of St Raphael into Orchard House was greeted, but nobody needed to worry. From the minute he arrive the level of care and attention both he and his relatives received was fantastic. His needs were quickly worked out and a system put in place for his comfort. The care and attention was first class and we were kept informed every step of the way.
From the moment of arrival to the time of his passing the care and attention has been tremendous [at Orchard House] and we cannot thank the staff, from the top to the bottom, enough. God Bless you all. Thank you.

Dear Michael & Staff (Lodore) We as a family would like to thank you all for the care and love you showed Mum during the past year. We know how difficult it has been for everyone but she could not have been in a better place for her final days. I personally always felt very much at home when I as able to visit her and thank you for allowing my daily visits towards the end of her life.

We are writing this letter to express our deep appreciation for the care Alan (husband of Jill and father of Judith) received in your care. We hope that it will strengthen your reputation as an excellent Nursing/Care Home so that others may choose to place their loved ones in your care. Right from the moment we had any contact with you and your staff we were impressed with their caring and polite efficiency – nothing was too much trouble.
The room we chose for Alan was light and airy, having a view out into the garden. Your caring staff quickly became like family to Alan (and us!). They were always caring, respectful and made him feel special. Even his most personal care needs were undertaken with love and care, always designed to keep his dignity and self-worth.
We visited Alan daily up until the point that the Covid-19 pandemic struck. Ceasing these visits was very hard for us and Alan, but your staff enabled us to have phone and video conversations, and when safe, to meet him in the garden. Alan became so fond of all your carers because they were so polite, cheerful, understanding and genuine.
Up until Alan’s final days you made every effort to help us make contact with him – for which we are so grateful. It is a great comfort to us that his favourite carer was with him when he passed away – he entered into eternity with someone who loved him by his side when we could not be with him.
